urm, after she was diagnosed in about January she stayed in hospital other than about a week until she died in march. I tried seeing her as much as i could, i went after school to the hospital and went with my mum on weekends, took stuff we used to do together to try rejog her memory as she was on morphine (idk if your grandad is but that worked for my nan), just spent as much time with her as i could. I knew that she was going to die because she wasnt strong enough and had already battled cancer perviously. So just make the most of your time together, when my nan died i dealt with it by reading at her funeral, i kept busy, thought of the good times, and its ok to be upset and cry, but thats not what they want for us.
